题目:Photoacoustics in Biomedicine
报告人: Dr. Changhui Li
Department of Biomedical Engineering Washington University
报告内容摘要:
Over the past decade, photoacoustic applications in biomedicine have gained more and more interests all over the world. By combining the sensitive optical absorption contrast and high ultrasound resolution, photoacoustics emerges as a new non-invasive, non-ionizing in biomedical detection modality, including imaging and sensing. In addition, it provides both functional and molecular images with up to centimeters’ imaging depth in the scattering tissue in vivo. This technique has great advances over other high resolution optical and ultrasonic imaging modalities. In this talk, a brief review of the photoacoustics in biomedicine will be given, including the fundamental mechanism, diverse research fields and wide applications.
