4月29日下午3点，在力学楼434会议室，澳大利亚水环境生物技术实验室主任、阿德莱德大学金波教授为北大学子带来了一场精彩纷呈的讲座，这场讲座深入的介绍了澳大利亚先进的生物和纳米废水回收利用技术，使在座的同学受益匪浅。
讲座开始由米建春">米建春教授对金波教授的到来表示热烈的欢迎。金波教授首先介绍了美丽的澳大利亚和阿德莱德大学以及澳大利亚的教育和研究。接下来金波教授详细介绍了先进的污水处理技术。金波教授研究背景十分广泛，例如生物、材料、化学、工程等等，但他秉承的一个理念，就是将工业或民用的废水中的有机物处理成很多有价值的产品并重复使用，这也体现了国家的可持续发展的理念。报告通过多组鲜明生动的图表，使同学们对资源回收和废物再利用的流程和工艺有了比较清晰的了解。另外他还详细的分析和讲解了微生物技术和纳米技术工艺在可再生生物能源以及污水处理和再利用中的运用，也对参与这方面研究的老师和同学们提出了宝贵的建议。金波教授的讲座给同学们的研究提供了颇具实际应用价值的指导。报告完成后提问踊跃，讨论广泛。
金波教授简介：
Professor Bo Jin is an internationally educated and established research engineer in bioprocess and metabolic engineering, biotransformation and bioconversion processes, environmental biotechnology, fermentation technology and wastewater treatment. He has over 25 year professional experience employed as an engineer, scientist and academic across Australia, China and the Netherlands. Dr Jin is the founder and director of the WEBL at the University of Adelaide. He has a joint position as the Leader of Wastewater Research Unit, Australian Water Quality Centre since 2004. Dr Jin is an editorial board member of three international refereed journals and a visiting professor of Chinese Academy of Science and other 4 universities in China. Professor Jin also services as Vice President of Federation of Chinese Scholars in Australia and President of South Australia Association of Chinese Scholars and Professionals.
